How to Delete Your Account
If you wish to permanently delete your Credithawk account and all associated data, follow these steps:
- Open the Credithawk mobile app
- Navigate to your Profile page
- Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner
- Scroll down and tap the "Delete Account" button
- Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears
⚠️ Warning: This action cannot be undone
Once you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your Credithawk account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- ✓ All transaction history and records
- ✓ Budget information and spending categories
- ✓ Savings goals and progress tracking
- ✓ Financial insights and analytics data
- ✓ Connected bank account information (Plaid links)
- ✓ Profile information and app settings
- ✓ All other personal data associated with your account
Data Retention
Immediate Deletion: Your data is deleted immediately upon account deletion and cannot be recovered. We do not retain backup copies of deleted user data.
